The Garden of Song
By
There’s a garden somewhere way up high
No one can see with a naked eye
The garden of notes, The garden of song…
Where so many blues player, are playing along
Close your eyes Can you hear them sing?
Can you hear them play? You to can hear this band today…
Follow their lead follow their creed
It’s here on this earth, where there is a need
Waking to the news of saddening decline
Within that moment, Life’s defined?
Close your eyes Can you hear them sing?
Can you hear them play? Filling the world with sound today
With conviction
Those famous few
Gave their passion’s
To me & you
Many of which
Their worlds were worse
They spread the word
Through song & verse
Close your eyes
Can you hear them sing?
Can you hear them play?
Find some joy in music today!

You got my mind wanders off from the dull work place to where the music plays. Great sketch! The words make it alive.

@soulmerlin -You never read them, because that’s never been published until now, by me.. :))))))
You are never, nor will you ever be ignorant - there is a funny thing I do, as often as I can when I get all nervous, scared or beside my real self..
I put on the headphones, and sit in my favorite lazy boy… and I find music that makes me go back to a peaceful time, a time of joy.. it’s funny, alot of time it’s an old country western song, or a Johnny Cash song, from when I used to listen in on my mom’s conversations on the corded telephone… it brings me joy, it brings a feeling of comfort and rememberance, and it also makes my heart stop racing..those songs from the throaty blues players, or the head banging rocker’s.. I try to find a memorable moment, that makes me happy..
It’s finding some joy in music today.. today.. I listened to Gabriels Song - by Sting.. (think thats the name.. it’s a Xmas tune)
@Ching Ya - I am glad that you found a place to listen to those notes..
@fool - as always, I love when you stop by, and I love bringing myself back to that funky old honkey tonk where some old white boy is layin’ it down.
@judy - always, always a pleasure, your songs have always brought me to a peaceful place
